During the middle seasons it got really political. DONT GET ME WRONG i loved it and had conflict all the way through but i feel like most of was spent with boring monarchy politics.

I don’t disagree (it coulda been done a bit better, the books actually make the politics interesting) but GOT was political from season 1, but by season 7 that was pretty much non existent

yeah after 7 i fell in love but also starting out with white walkers and killing off who you think is gonna be a main character good god it grabs you by the balls
