A college degree should be the new high school degree but it should be free. Why not have a well educated society

Because not everyone is smart enough for a college degree. The last thing we should do is dumb down college anymore than we already have

Because some of the people who “graduated” high school would not last a day in college and there are people who “graduated” high school who still act and talk like they are uneducated. So while yes I agree that college shouldn’t be so expensive not everyone needs to go because some people barely even passed high school

No like some people literally aren’t built for college, or don’t need it. While k-12 does need fixed, it simply cannot prepare some people for college

Some people minds are just wired for service, technical, etc jobs moreso than more school. You’re telling me everyone you went to highschool would enjoy college, much less do good there?

Yeah but some people don’t because their parents make them and also not until you’re 18 which before 18 you need formal parental consent

Everyone should have access to college, that doesn’t mean everyone will succeed. Some people aren’t suited to high school either.

Some colleges have trade programs. I didn’t say universities i said college. Community college is still college.

I completely agree #2. I just don’t think it should be the new highschool where everyone is expected/forced to do it
