Depends on who you are talking about in the Alamo. There was a healthy mix Irishman, Native Americans, Mexicans, a man from Denmark, People from free states others from slave states. Many Mexicans revolted due to the increase centralization of the Mexican government at the time. Within 5 years of the Alamo multiple states would declare independence from Mexico such as the Yucatán, rio grand and Tabasco within 10 years California would declare independence

I’ve been there on a tour and it’s not even that interesting ngl. The place is tiny and honestly the whole thing is underwhelming. And this is all coming from someone whose major is in history
