They’re a single issue voter and they’ve explicitly stated this a few times. It’s not so much a humiliation fetish as it is a fervent belief in a right to bear arms. If I had to take a guess, they’d probably make the argument that people have the right to own tanks and howitzers and the ammunition readily available on the market.
