The single universal sign of wealth and success throughout the world is literally getting to live far away from there and in gated communities lol. I think most people would take a big house in a nice neighborhood over being called a pussy on the internet for not wanting to watch a homeless man piss on the floor of a train on the way to work in the morning

Americans romanticized the suburbs because that’s where white people moved to flee minorities. In literally every other western society, houses in major metros are the most desirable. There is no difference between moving to a gated community in the suburbs and a rich, upscale, exclusive urban neighborhood. Rich people globally do not live amongst the normal urban crowd

Lol brah listen to yourself. You’re getting heated at the idea that someone doesn’t want to step on a dirty needle on the way to the grocery store. That’s a universal want. Until that either starts happening in suburbs, or stops happening in cities, it will never be the “crazy position” to strive to get away from it

Except that they literally do. There are no rich gated communities outside of London, Paris, or Berlin. The wealthy live in town. Because they value time.
