Guy murdered 2 innocent Jewish staffers in DC while chanting “Free Palestine”. This is why the vast majority of Americans will never take this movement seriously or support it, it’s so regularly an echo chamber for hate and antisemitism.

Stop conflating antizionism with antisemitism. When you are a member of the IDF, were working and promoting the positions of the right wing government, and then used your personal platform to continue promoting the genocide of the Palestinian people, you are not innocent. How do you think that mentality seeped into their work? You think these goons were at their desk trying to support peace? One of them "simply" "organized trips to Israel". Do you even know what that means? 💀

That’s such an uneducated comment. Malcolm X was not gunning down people who worked in government in cold blood. This is blatant murder and should never be condoned in the fight for PEACE. If you start brushing over the murder of innocents then the cycle of violence will just continue.

The person chanting “Free Palestine” doesn’t actually give people a reason to support the genocide of anyone anywhere, that’s my point. The same way Malcolm X telling people to own guns didn’t give people back then a “reason to be resistant.”

No one’s saying support a genocide it’s just the acknowledgment that the “Free Palestine” movement is wrought with hateful antisemites and that’s why it will never actually enact change. Bc people like the shooter start murdering people in the name of the movement, and people like you try to defend it. That’s not gonna win over the public. And if you cannot garner a large base, nothing will ever change. Other than killing Jews I guess
