Crazy how much nuclear weapons dismantling actually works. US and Russia both used to have like 40k

They also degrade in quality, it’s a lot of effort to maintain that many so they would actually work

Well yeah but we dismantled them because we wanted less nukes not because it was logistically unsustainable
