Why do we glorify Japan when they committed war crimes and atrocities in ww2, Nanking massacre, comfort women, unit 731, and planned on using biological weapons, and no one wants to recognize it in the west, is it because the victims weren’t white?

Or do we just want to defend Japan, because they are an ally now? But we don’t defend Germany because there an ally now, they both committed atrocities and both should be condemned

In the Japanese internment camps yes, babies were basically rounded up into slave camps in the West just because they looked Asian.
