A stable Afghanistan bc to the Pashtun territories is a threat to the existence of Pakistan which is why they backed the US occupation and operations there

The British really were going around in 1947 carving out countries solely for specific religions out of ethnically diverse areas for one specific foreign ethnic group to dominate (Jews and Mujahirs)
