That was not your domain during the summer that was the realm of the Wasps

I will forever wear as a badge of honor the legendary girls vs boys game of tag I started. That thing lasted MONTHS, bled into class time, eventually got all 90 something of us in trouble. But it was so fucking worth it

When I was a kid there was a playground that looked like this close to a hospital (there was also a school next to the hospital but I didn’t know that) so I thought it was a fancy playground for the kids with cancer since they didn’t have much time left

And who do you think dared to start a crusade and reclaimed it from those savages? Many were lost in the retaking but the did not fall in vain

The biggest reason where I’m from was due to the wood dry rotting and not be sustainably safe

They should still keep these but use better materials. Playgrounds nowadays look like prison gyms

HENDERSONVILLE?????

Anonymous#1210w
I didn’t grow up there but my dad lived there when I was a kid in the 2000s and when I would visit for a few months I would play there all the time!! it got destroyed in a flood and Taylor Swift donated money to rebuild

They are “safer” now and use plastic so that they don’t get too hot and then use a bouncy ground material to prevent fall injuries. A bunch are funded by like insurances that just do it to out their name out there rather than make play enjoyable.
