It seems like you are simultaneously arguing that: 1. Viagra is gender affirming care when prescribed to treat ED 2. Minors have a right to gender affirming care 3. Its not appropriate to prescribe Minors medication for ED Either you don’t actually believe one of these, or you have some serious cognitive dissonance.
care that affirms ones gender is gender affirming care. viagra affirms men that they are men as they can continue to be sexually active as a man would. gender affirming care can be respecting ones pronouns, or enabling them to explore expression in how they dress. it can also be viagra or puberty blockers or testosterone or, if needed, operations of a variety of types. gender affirming care can and should be given to those who are having problems or struggling as they are.
gender affirming care can and should be given to minors and adults when needed. if you claim you are against gender affirming care, then no more viagra and a whole lot of other things. gender affirming care is not exclusive to trans people. cis individuals also frequently receive gender affirming care.
I certainly do not think anyone should have access to anything that makes them feel more masculine or feminine. Some men get a feeling of masculinity through domestic violence or sexual harassment. I think that’s disgusting, but it fits your broad definition of gender affirming care.
