1. High MCAT makes up for any and all shortcomings on your application 2. Keep ur GPA as high as possible 3. Get some clinical experience 4. Shadow doctors 5. If you can get a publication or two, but at the very least join a research lab in undergrad 6. Shadow a DO physician if you can find one, if ur MCAT is too low and you don’t want to retake you might want to apply DO and some DO schools require a DO rec letter
