There’s literally 10 spatial dimensions (M-theory) yet people still don’t in the spiritual realm, heaven, hell, multiverse, etc. It’s astounding to me that people think only what we can see is what to believe.

I don’t think it’s reasonable to believe a God exists with no objective evidence of one

M theory is a theory

My belief is that I have no idea what’s out there or what created us, if anything other than chance, and I don’t understand how anyone could believe differently. There’s no scientific evidence of anything so I can’t fully believe anything. Anything could be possible 🤷‍♀️

So just like evolution, gravity, and the Big Bang?

No, all those things have been theories at one time and have been proven now empirically

What is the difference between a regular theory and a scientific theory? Tell me.

They’re still theories. Scientific theories are explanations of natural phenomena. Comparing a scientific theory to a scientific law doesn’t even make sense. Laws explain what happens whereas theories explain how something happens. Gravitation is a law explained by the theory of general relativity. Electromagnetism is a law explained by quantum field theory.

In biology, we know life changes over time. Evolutionary theory explains how life changes.

The problem is that that 3 of the 4 fundamental forces of nature are explained by quantum theory. Gravity is the odd one out. The best theory we have for gravity is general relativity, but general relativity fails at quantum scales. M-theory is a theory of quantum gravity. Basically, gravity is an extraordinarily weak force compared to the other forces. The theory posits that the graviton (force carrier of gravity) “leaks” out into other dimensions unlike the other 3 forces.
