I’m in an all red state and it’s crazy how some people literally voted their homes away. We had gnarly flooding and due to emergency relief cuts and lack of federal help people lost their homes, but was easy for rich real estate companies to buy it at a cheap price! Trump literally talked people into voting themselves outta a home

Is it really "small government" though? Massively expanding spending on ICE, levying huge tariffs across the board, parading the National Guard around in LA and DC, suing universities to let them influence their curriculum, going after companies that still practice anything resembling DEl, putting nonsense restrictions on Covid vaccines, threatening to eliminate “woke” from museums, need I say more? This isn't small government, it's just one that shits on its poor people and calls it such

On top of what I previously stated, we are also currently one of the worst countries when it comes to welfare. Out of all Nations that we can be compared to, the EU Canada developed countries in Asia like Japan, we are the worst. We do so so little for our homeless people it is actually kind of disgusting.

My mom is literally homeless. The government does nothing for her because she doesn't technically have a house of residence for the assistance office to get her the money the government is supposed to give her. No homeless shelters or anything until about an hour over in the next city.

She literally begs me and my grandmother who I live with for money because she has nothing. Can't get a job because she's homeless and most jobs require a house of residence. Can't get assistance, can't ask us for money because we're also very poor, can't ask anyone else. Our government and social systems are fucked. You are conditioned to not care through corporate brainwashing and self centered mindsets of Americans.

You conservatives I swear will never understand literally breaking down over $20. You'll never know what it's like to not be able to afford a real meal and live off ramen because there's literally no other option. That's what turns boys to men and conservatives into liberals.
