Because the "action they know how to take" means nothing. That's not my opinion, it's proven evidence. They achieved nothing and had no coherent goal. Voting obviously didn't work, and their peaceful protests didn't work. Sure, I can be called a keyboard warrior. But seriously, 8 million protesters and nothing?

They connected with other people who might be involved with stronger initiatives. People registered to vote and signed petitions. The country saw by the numbers how unpopular trump is. Lots of things happened or may have happened

With one gun? Probably nothing. Obviously you missed the point of my reply. Statistically, those 8 million protesters could've had ~11 million guns in total. There should've been at least 2 million among them carrying. But I understand you want your "gotcha."
