None of the other options included science and helping people 🤷🏼‍♂️ You should listen to your preceptors when they say medicine is a lot shittier than it used to be. That the “golden age of medicine” is gone. Thats for a reason mate. Go do some research and then come back.

I do listen to my preceptors and I am very aware of the reality of medicine, come talk to me once you’re done with rotations, you’ve taken STEP, and you’ve actually spoke with real patients

Telling patients to their face that they are undeserving of healthcare is a great way to get curbstomped (either literally or legally) by a patient advocate. Also engineering exists in terms of helping people and involving stem, but I guess it didn’t pit you in a position where you could take advantage of vulnerable people and lord it over them at the same time, you sick egotistical fuck.
