I think the chronically online twitter leftist gets sucked into a doom spiral that they think they can’t do anything about because it’s hard to take down a society. On the other hand the chronically online right winger is very easily swayed towards violence because if the problem is the blacks, the Jews, etc then if you just kill them you have no more problems
