We export those planes to less than trustworthy countries, I highly doubt Iran getting ahold of a C-130J would make any difference in the world

You’re both right. It’s better to destroy the planes and not let our enemy get a hold of anything of ours, advanced or not, while at the same time, Iran learning how to build a C130 wouldn’t give them a chance against us and wouldn’t save their Air Force from the absolute destruction it’s received
