it’s going to increase the intelligence gap like crazy where people who are already smart are probably going to get smarter and people who aren’t are unfortunately going to get a lot dumber, and extra unfortunately is that this is all kids

i’m ngl man this isn’t cos of ai some high school students are just like that, esp if the teacher is younger and friendly with the students. i knew kids like this in high school and that was before generative ai was a thing.

Exactly this. No way to use AI during an AP, SAT, or ACT test, so those kids will actually have knowledge and the ability to write complete essays and answer questions with their own thoughts. I’ll honestly be watching the stats of standardized testing a lot more closely these next few years.
