China is not a party to the ICC, and the investigators stated that because the crimes have been committed within China and by Chinese nationals against other Chinese nationals, they aren’t permitted to conduct an investigation within China. Does that help you understand?

The definition of genocide for kids is when one group of people decides to kill and try to eliminate all of another group of people. Nobody likes a genocide, don’t try and be cute by making jokes about the deaths of millions of people.

If one country decided to handle an INTERNAL conflict INTERNALLY then the ICC is not permitted to step in. They do not have the jurisdiction and any case they have would be inadmissible. I think the only exception to that is if there are inhumane acts committed to the people of that nation or if another nations rights are infringed on. There’s the evidence

Culture genocide is not listed on legal documents because it’s a literally a subgenre of genocide. It’s a piece of it.
