the ppl who are pissed off at the protests happening at harris’s book tour have lost the plot. formerly elected officials STILL have some power to influence others and should STILL be held accountable, especially if they represent the party you vote for.

“protest the people in power!” and the people in power are literally blatant fascists who would call for your execution if they sense even the slightest criticism.

you only criticize someone when you’re just pissed off enough that you have to say something about it

Because I don’t agree. The vote system is to express that lol. Maybe you’re that emotional but I can disagree and still have no emotional reaction to it. It’s like seeing someone say the sky is red. No you’re wrong, and me telling you that is correcting and criticizing you. But I don’t get mad at you for being wrong. I’m just pointing out a fact or counter point

if it didn’t affect you that much then you wouldn’t have replied in the first place. your admittance in wanting to tell me that i’m wrong is admitting you take enough of an issue to give af and are therefore pissed off to some degree.

Again, you might be that emotional that that’s how you respond to contesting opinions. But I don’t lol. I like being contradictory when I know I’m correct. I only continue because you keep engaging. I enjoy dialogue even when it’s with people who aren’t as smart as me.

I really am not lmao. I do not think you’re as smart as I am. I’m really just expressing that thought here. You’re 100% angry though which is telling

ya well unlike you i can actually admit that im pissed off, and that was kinda the point of me posting. if i wasn’t pissed off about this then i wouldn’t post it. also insulting my intelligence doesn’t help your case in proving that you’re cool-headed

I’m not pissed off lmao. I can explain that to you, but I can’t understand that for you, that’s on you to do. I truly don’t think that you’re as smart as me. That is me being 100% genuine.

i’m not pissed just disappointed tbh. i’d only hope that the people still physically protesting her also attend other protests against trump and his administration. it’s just sad to think you’d immediately give up on that but still run after a battle that you ultimately won.

well that’s the thing isn’t it, why do you immediately assume that they aren’t against the trump administration as well? because you don’t see their protests in the news? are ppl not allowed to vocally criticize the candidate that is supposed to represent them? does their criticism immediately suggest that they don’t hold trump to the same, if not an even greater criticism? these assumptions demonize collective action in advocating for the interests of the people.

no, you implied that. you need a clarification. i never said that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t protest the people in power. it means that the people in power have obviously been cracking down violently upon protestors and are the kind of people who don’t give af if they have to restrain you unconstitutionally. democrats pride themselves on being the party of the ppl and are more welcoming of protests. i’m saying, imo, it’s valuable to protest those who represent you politically
