Its only the pills that are a problem. The suppositories are still ok

Real talk though, avoid taking Tylenol unless it’s really sore. The inflammation is part of the immune response you’re trying to train. Do windmills with your arms and it may help a bit

more like why does it help with the soreness?

So I looked into it and some doctors think it doesn’t do anything 😭 but some think it spreads the vaccine around so that your immune system doesn’t send the inflammatory response to your arm only, instead sending it to a larger area

The same article also says experts recommended getting it in your dominant arm for this reason, but I’ve never heard that tbh. After my first dose in my non-dominant arm I realized that was a bad idea because it turns out that’s the side I sleep on 💀

that is deeply unfortunate but now there’s a tentative (yet contested) solution

It’s actually not that bad. Compared to my other shoulder which is still recovering from a dislocation, it’s barely even noticeable, lol

dislocation is so rough, mine used to just pop in and out 😭 make sure u rotate tylenol and ibuprofen and not just take one thing for the pain bc that’s how you speed run stomach ulcers (from experience)

It probably helps a little just to get the blood flowing. You’d probably be better off doing some shoulder exercises with resistance band though.

I took a bit of Motrin for a couple of days back when I first dislocated it, but aside from that I kinda just powered through it. It’s almost better now, after months, but I’m still building back my range of motion 😮💨
