I say this as someone where both sides of my family come from farming backgrounds. If most farmers weren’t just so damn entitled. They’re entirely propped up by other people’s tax dollars but god forbid some poor kids get food assistance. And then suddenly when their own voting choices takes away the Mexicans who do all the work, or fucks over their market, it’s the end of the world.

AND their environmental policies are so dogshit. They get a bunch of cheap water from the government and out west can ranch their cows for almost free. But if the government needs to restrict water usage or wants to reintroduce wolves then it’s pandemonium.
