That’s actually super valid, but I think they have taken a pretty progressive stance with their business practices in other areas that (in my opinion) overshadow the state of gambling from Valve services. The biggest thing I can think of right now is their stance against the use of AI and banning Block-Chain features.
Oh and I think the other notable thing with steam in the tech space is that it’s just so common and expected at this point for every tech company to be ran by shareholders looking to squeeze every penny out of you, but steam is privately owned and there have been talks about it potentially turning into a workers co-op (I think).
