MAGA, on the other hand (which dominates conservative thought) IS a astroturfed monolith. The social media presence of the MAGA right is in large part basically directed by the White House. Multiple former conservative influencers have said exactly that, and it’s blatantly obvious when you look at right-wing social media (truth, X) So, who’s projecting again exactly?

I can see how that would be your perspective, but the difference comes in how heavily astroturfed the MAGA movement is in terms of culture war and headline policy talking points. Sure, not everyone on MAGA is of 100% of the same opinion on absolutely every issue outside of those issues, but if you ask someone on the MAGA movement their opinion on a given culture war issue, you will most likely just get a regurgitated talking point.
