I don’t this that falls under how we treat each other. That’s more of a government problem than a person to person problem

when will people realize that taxpayers don’t pay for healthcare in most places, 90% of taxes literally pay for the military and we still going into debt because of how much we spend

It absolutely does fall under how we treat one another. People are literally just telling disabled ppl you just “work”. They don’t feel bad for the parents of children who need it. There is a complete lack of empathy.

If you’re disabled or a child, how tf are you able to contribute to society?

i’m referring to the 14 million adults that are capable of working and chose convenience over contributing to society and riding the coattails of those who work

Yes sure, but those lazy adults are STILL Americans who deserve food and healthcare. The real problem is that the billionaires are not paying their fair share of taxes. If they did, we wouldnt even be complaining abt the lazy people because we wouldnt be in such a shitty economic situation. If the billionaires actually paid up, us normal people wouldnt have such high taxes

Also i will let you know, 300 in food stamps and a housing stipend is really not a “convenient” way to live lol

If you live like that you end up in shitty housing or homeless, with shitty cheap food to eat. If someone is so lazy theyd rather suffer in poverty than work, then i figure something else may be going on with them mentally or physically, and they should STILL BE fed, medicated, and housed

Getting a disability diagnosis is hard and expensive, if its an “ignorable” condition one may choose to work a low paying job or no job to get benefits a different route than disability, and they would be listed as an “able-bodied lazy ahhh adult who we should starve to death for fun”
