Kinda insane how both democrats and republicans are losing their minds over Mamdanis win…. Perhaps if both sides (who actively want to keep their power) say a candidate is bad, there might be something good there

i think it’s mainly the old dems that don’t like him. he’s way more left (or ‘extreme’) than most people but is still managing to get young people excited to vote. then he ran away with the democratic vote when the national democrats couldn’t even dream of a success like that. i think he just points out everything wrong with the democratic party rn
