The male loneliness epidemic statistically isn’t real; it’s a class loneliness epidemic independent of gender. The “male loneliness epidemic” is a talking point used to distract from class issues by libs, and as a culture war issue by conservatives.
The Cornell 7 case and its defenders has made realize that I not only couldn’t care less about the male loneliness epidemic, I think it should actually increase in numbers. Coming from a man btw.

Overall loneliness is close to even by gender, and class predicts it hard. HOWEVER it isn't independent of gender. Class and patriarchy aren't separate systems. Capitalism needs men who measure their worth by output and status, and patriarchy trains them to. Men in poverty lose that status first and were never taught closeness without it. That's where it hits hardest.
