im not sure people are forgetting this so much as they’re getting sick of it bc we’ve been choosing “lifeboat” candidates for ten years, and none of them seem to be floating us toward the shore

I think dems are forgetting that we’re literally on a sinking ship and gavin newsom is a lifeboat. I understand he isn’t the best choice but for right now we just need to get off the sinking ship and THEN AFTER THAT we can find someone better.
