Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t the vast majority of the Israeli population support or at the very least are indifferent to the ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians. Of course there are many who genuinely care about the hostages & want them back but they still support all the horrible things happening to the Palestinians. Again I apologize in advance if I’m incorrect

The statistics that say that were conducted by the Israeli government and used forced choice methodology. Not to mention outwardly expressing a dissenting political opinion can oftentimes lose you and your family their jobs. You also have to remember how much propaganda they’re being force fed on a daily basis that the war is good bc every Gazan is evil, and pro-war propaganda and forced conscription. The Israeli government is really fucked

82% of Israeli Jews support the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from Gaza. While 56% of Israeli Jews support getting rid of Arabs in Israel. So while I obviously don’t believe all Israelis support what’s happening & will give any individual Israeli the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise but it looks like the vast majority of citizens in Israel don’t like Bibi but support the bad things happening to the Palestinians & believe it should expand to the Arab citizens of Israel proper.

I don’t disagree with you on them being forced fed propaganda from birth & I bet it’s ridiculous hard to break free from that when it’s ingrained in almost every ounce of their society especially when everyone around is so bought in. Yeah I’ve heard that dissent can get people in trouble especially the Arabs citizens but not just them of course

It’s just much more complex than “Israelis evil like their government” is all I’m trying to express. Obv not justifying any interpersonal bigotry and violence they support. But many are fighting back too

Well like I said I don’t believe all Israelis are by default evil & would never assume an individual Israeli is pro genocide right off the back. Yeah I aware of groups on the ground in Israel who not only are anti Bibi but do oppose what’s happening to the Palestinians. I was just saying that the vast majority of Israelis do support what’s happening which shows the problems are deeper than just Bibi or even the war cabinet.
