Right. Cause pedo shitler for sure isn’t doing that. /s. Give me a break. Those that didn’t vote because she wasn’t perfect have helped get us to the current hell hole we’re in

During the election that seemed to be most of the leftist talking points

you’re blaming voters for the failure of a political party to do one of its primary functions

Why can’t it be both? I wasn’t a fan of Kamala, but I voted for her because I knew having the rapist, pedophile, felon, twice impeached, incompetent moron would be far worse overall for the country. We knew from his first term exactly what we would get, and yet, people stayed home.

why would it be both? voters wield limited to no power over federal elections. the political parties wield direct power over their campaigns. if your campaign fails to mobilize the voters that you need to win, then that is on you, never the voter

mind you, if the Democratic party lost promised something that wasn’t a continuation of the previous administration, maybe they would have won. unfortunately that requires Democrats to run on something, and for their supporters to hold the party accountable, not be appeased just because a representative has a (D) behind their name

You get to live with the consequences of an apathetic voting base. We all do. No vote, no say. If you’re waiting for the perfect candidate, they ain’t coming

Not voting with the Democratic Party because they do not align with your values is great when trying to make change happen in the future, but at the same time you have to also admit that it makes things shittier in the short term

Nope, not end of discussion. I’m upset at the DNC for not being better this go round, but at the end of the day folks should’ve realized that even the DNC is better than MAGA I don’t control either decisions, but we’ll all have to live w/the consequences of both

i did vote, just not for the Democratic party. even if i did vote for the Democratic party, Democrats have made it abundantly clear that they do not want progressive input. your phrase should be ‘vote or no vote, no say’

no i don’t, because my vote for the Democratic party in SC would not have impacted their results at all. voters do not wield power unless they live in 7/50 states

The rhetoric of “dont vote kamala if she doesn’t allign with all your values” can and does impact votes where they matter

Only 1 of the 2 major parties will win, a large enough group advocating for people to not vote for one/vote for the 3rd option can have impacts on future elections and candidates. But it also allows the worse of the original 2 parties to win

so does promising that we’ll have ‘the most lethal fighting force’ and ‘israel has a right to defend itself’. i think that those had more influence over her performance than a few voters

Yes, if you read the post you are commenting on that is what it says I dont think its a good thing, but it’s undeniably better that what the current administration has been doing and for that reason I wish more people voted for kamala

I live in super gerrymandered, mini-Texas, Ohio. My votes will not count now. It won’t stop me from trying.

Leftist definitely said they would withhold their votes and I think many did. But we can’t simultaneously say that their vote lost us the election and also say that their votes wouldn’t have mattered (which is true). We wouldn’t have won any meaningful states with the leftist vote anyways. A populist is gonna populist + incumbent parties around the world lost elections, so it was a perfect storm for Trump to take advantage of ignorant conservatives.
