America is an immigrant melting pot. However if that said country is actively trying to suppress people from your background and remove them from the country. Burning the flag is a symbolism of protesting the country’s current actions and showing support for the people being deported by raising said nationality’s flag.
It’s almost like California is a diverse state and LA is home to Americans who aren’t white! There’s this thing called heritage, and being proud while defending your family, your neighbors, and your community is more important than optics that people actually don’t give a shit about
Well, yeah, I get that there's nothing wrong with taking pride in your heritage, but I mean, if you want to fight for your right to stay in America, in this scenario, I would find it more appropriate to wave the flag of where you want to reside, not where you are trying to avoid getting shipped back to.
Neither, but ok, I just misspoke there; my apologies. But either way, documented or undocumented, you are protesting since you believe that American values and laws should allow undocumented immigrants to make a home out of this country, correct? If yes, protest by waving an American flag and showing the world what you believe America should be. Is that truly such a difficult concept to grasp? I can't tell if you're being willfully ignorant or purposely obtuse 😉
