I made a post the other day about how I can’t take anti-immigration people seriously because the valid economic concerns is seemingly just a cover for the actual motivation of racism and OP here is really driving it home.

I don't see the issue. European anti-immigration people have an actual basis for their stances, for the exact reason OOP stated. The Japanese are a similar example. The comparison to American anti-immigration people is apples-to-oranges because 99% of them descended from immigrants themselves, which is exactly why their arguments are dense and baseless.

The wage concerns they raise are addressed pretty easily with stricter laws around work authorization and verification, and they’ve shown to be a net positive for the US economy

Did you read what OP said? They started claiming that people of different races cannot adopt the same culture. That’s not a normal thing to believe dude.
