No it doesn’t. As empires adopted more left wing policies, they fell apart. Thats the trend. Traditions were traditions for a functional reason. Lose the tradition, and you lose the function that came with it, until you’re left with only your delusions of superiority. (You are here.) You’d have to pin down what the tanky you disagree with has making them a tanky. If they’re about efficient public systems, say health care, public transport, college, being nationalized. Point to the Nordic model. If they’re all about “all violence/terrorism/weird shit is justified” show them how Assad was kicked out by some guy deciding to be normal and build something instead of tankying and trying to fight 1000v1 with everyone that ever wronged him with Al Q.

As you get more theoretical this results based crutch starts to fall apart to their “no no I’d do it differently and better though”, and keep in mind the lefties are Balkanized as fuck so what one guy believes in will be radically different from the next guy even if they’re both tankies. Learn what they actually think instead of projecting some other tanky onto them cause if you do that you just have to call it and hope to try again later.

All nations are stabilizing by the ability to do violence. Oppression is something we can all rally against. Finding the right targets though is trickier.
