Yes he 100% has an obligation to speak to the press. He is president bc he was voted for by the people and thus he answers to us. He has the responsibility of making sure we know what’s going on in our country. He is obligated by law to talk to them, and if you still don’t believe me, read the recent Supreme Court decisions (which is mostly conservative and still disagrees with you bc your point is dumb).

Show me in the constitution where it says the president is obligated to speak to the press. He doesn’t have to speak to any news organization at all. If he wants to only speak to Newsmax he absolutely has the right to do it. He not only has the right but the duty to tell those news organizations to go fuck themselves because that’s what the American people voted for him to do.
