Two biggest difference between the parties is the top of one party (republicans) encourages the violence and turns up the rhetoric while the other party (democrats) widely condemns any violence.

I don’t think this community has widely condemned violence. I’m seeing posts from leftists on insta, bluesky, and tiktok celebrating it with hundreds of thousands of likes

You don’t think its a problem when hundreds of thousands of people are celebrating and encouraging political violence?

Not anywhere near as much of a problem as the president blaming the left for the shooting with zero proof, and continuing to divide us. Trump is overwhelmingly the source of violent rhetoric

1. Rhetoric is nonviolent by definition. Your conflation of opinions with violence is part of the problem. 2. The chronically online leftists are giving Trumps position credibility. If they weren’t publicly declaring that they think its good to shoot people for their opinions, his words would ring hollow.

If we’re going off what random internet people think I assure you the right doesn’t care about violence. Look at the response to Charlie Kirk almost all large media and political figures on the left denounced it while every large political figure on the right was 1. Blaming the left before we knew anything about the shooter. 2. Or was directly calling for “war” or vengeance”.

These are just silly points you made 1.Rhetoric can 100% lead to violence other wise why would you care about left wing people celebrating? 2. Lmao I like how “chronically online leftists” who might be trolls have to be the bigger person not the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. do you not see how rhetoric on both sides feeds into each other?
