I’ll bet $500 that conservagrifters are going to be calling the new king of the hill season “woke” as if the original show wasn’t progressive for its time
they wouldnt comment on something if they knew anything about it (they absolutely would and would just lie about it but its really obvious when they dont, which is most cases)

That show is legitimately so refreshing because it paints such a sober and idealistic future of where American conservatism was headed pre Trump. I really hope the new show digs into stuff like that, it was always very good and hitting touchy subjects

I haven’t actually watched king of the hill before but I do see its appeal. I’ll probably watch it at some point cause I could use some optimism.

It’s genuinely one of the most smartly written and funniest “adult” animated comedies ever. Every episode has at least one line that cracks me up, as well as usually having a really nice and insightful message without coming off as preachy. It’s a real comfort show of mine.
