Like yes, that word has a long and very dark history that isn't acknowledged by white people when they use it in music, but the word has more meaning to black people than it does to white people. They only say it because it makes them look cooler and sometimes to fit in within social cliques. I hardly believe this warrants bringing back the inherently harmful institution of segregation.
It didn't work back then and it will not now. Back then, it didn't lead to equal institutions, it lead to more funding being funneled to white businesses and schools and barely any to "colored" businesses and schools. It was a continuation of racial oppression after the Confederacy was broken up, the same logic behind sharecropper farms.
I disagree, as we've tried segregation before and it didn't work, it legitimized financial and educational oppression, keeping black Americans down and letting white Americans prosper. I don't see that changing due to the inherent beliefs around the separation of races and how it has no respect to actual biology. Just because there are some rich black men doesn't mean they will be inclined to throw money to push for segregation so cruise liners can be black-only and music can have racial groups.
You haven't made a very convincing argument. If you seriously want to convince people of this, you should have more legitimate reasons other than "white people saying the N word in songs." There are plenty of places in the U.S. where you can be denied a home loan or given bad medical care based on your race. You should focus on less personal causes and more general causes.
Most importantly going backwards isn’t the answer and neither is segregation. There’s a way to coexists so we should do that… let’s education ppl on simple concepts like not saying the N word, and not jump to making interracial couples a crime. We go down a segregation rabbit hole it’s not gonna end how you think ppl are too corrupt for that
Segregation will continue to perpetuate the racism and would cause so many new problems across the board and it would just amplify racist, rhetoric, and ideology. Supporting this idea is also enabling racism. Not only that but this idea also would enable racism on its own. Your idea solved nothing, you just racist and don’t want to see Black people around.
