dei programs are in place to make sure that people of color and women who have the qualifications for the job aren’t pushed aside and disregarded in favor of a white man. they aren’t “prioritizing people of color and women,” they’re ensuring people of color and women have an equal opportunity to get a job they have the qualifications for

This is called “THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OF 1964” you dumb asshole. Any additional program, like DEI (which no longer exists federally 😜), is a massive message to women, POC, and disabled persons that they need an extra push. News flash: you fucking dont.
