I genuinely cannot talk to trump supporters anymore. They claim trump has majority approval. I prove them wrong and show he has roughly a 45% approval. They then say I’m lying and he has majority approval. It’s not even worth engaging them at this point.

They're buying merch from a concentration camp. Feels like a lost cause at this point.

If they believed actual evidence, they’d never have been Trump supporters in the first place.

See how mad they get when you remind them that mathematically, only about 30% of adult citizens voted for him.

Can you not read that it says "extends Medicaid coverage? it's saying Medicaid expansion lets states cover more low-income adults (under 65 and earning up to 138% of the poverty level), including adults without kids, which wasn’t always the case before.

and some democrats can't wrap their heads around working 80 hours a month if they're able bodied? this is america where people go out and actually work toward their goals instead of sitting home and getting a paycheck every month

14 yr olds in poverty shouldn’t have to work 80 hrs a week cause they’re “able bodied”. Ur a suck-up to the 1% and your supporting child labor

The whole point is that alot of people who need snap, medicare, and other forms of government assistance are going to lose it. Your “freeloaders” are people without any capacity to sustain themselves in poverty and many will probably as the policies become enacted

The point of the bill is to get people that have slacked off from work since covid to actually get up off their ass...

This would be remotely relevant if Republicans across the country hadn’t been facilitating the exploitation of workforces for three generations. Allow corporations to skirt benefits requirements by making every single staff position part-time. Force the staff to government benefits as supplement. Eliminate government benefits necessary because of late-stage capitalism and illiterate sky daddy sycophants.
