Spouse always. You don’t get to choose your kids or how they turn out or the choices they make. You choose your spouse because they are the counterpoint to your entire self. If you have kids, that’s great. But if you want a relationship to succeed, your spouse should always be your priority.

Not that way like seniority kind of. Like who do you put first. The thing I saw was spouse, children, and mom (one of the parents parents) and which order is it that you would put first

It’s the same type of conflict as blood family and chosen family. I had no say in who my brother or uncle or cousin are. But I absolutely chose my close friends because of the people they are and how they make my life better and more fulfilled. I’d choose chosen family over people I happen to be related to any day of the week.

Idk why this is being downvoted, that’s quite literally what being a parent means. If you wouldn’t put your kids first I’m going to assume you neglect and/or abuse your children

If it’s a matter of a fetus or a mom, I’m gonna say the mom but if it’s a matter of the life of your child or spouse in a dire situation, you should pick your child
