I’ve come to realize over the past year that my strongly held theoretical political ideals/ideology are vastly different from what I believe should be immediately legislated/implemented for the general greatest benefit, and I’m perfectly okay with thatand it’s important to realize that a functional pendulum swings both ways for example, if someone has the ideal of a morally upright society where people are disciplined and hardworking (like most people on the right do), it makes absolute sense to currently be in support of abortion since forcing people to have kids they can’t support is antithetical to that ideal
