 You can’t tell me where I’m wrong btw and neither can anyone else. The position has been that people are fearmongering prions because of the mortality rate. You can respond to this and I’ll respond in the morning, but I’m going back to bed.

🤷‍♂️ It’s one of those things I know I’m right on, but it’s arguing feels vs reals with people. People are scared about prions the same way they’re scared about nuclear bombs or power plants melting down. Is it reasonable to hate nuclear energy and be scared of it because of Chernobyl?…The whole point is realizing that your fear of prion shouldn’t dictate your perception of the likelihood of it happening. You are more likely to die from salmonella than BSEs yet no one even brings that up…
