How isn’t it a culture thing? Islam allows for marriage as young as 12. In America that’s against our law. To an extremist Islamic country, that is the law which creates a culture where it’s acceptable. An environment shapes your personality into two ways. One that thinks it’s horrible and one that’s thinks it’s perfectly okay.

Islam does not allow for child marriage. There is nothing in the Quran or the Hadith that discusses that. Extremism isn’t cultural. It’s humanistic and directly correlated to the health of your upbringing/generics to an extent.

There’s fatwas against child marriage nowadays from many prominent Imams, but historically speaking Islam has allowed child marriage, and so has Christianity.

The Bible has a lot of child marriage, and child marriage is legal in the US and is actually a huge issue that is widely ignored.
