uhhh last year the house passed a bill declaring the rest of the year to be a calendar day so that no one could declare that the tariffs weren’t actually in response to a legitimate emergency

Oh no I am, because the new one requires congressional approval after 150 days (whether they can just end the trade imbalance and then re-declare it is unknown). And it’s capped at 15% and must be done uniformly
