last_republican_on_yikyak

 Retail workers should be allowed to sit visibly in front of customers. When I went to Europe the cashiers would be sitting. In the USA I just feel bad for them and all it does is paint a negative image of the business.

It’s just inefficient. Workers would be more productive if they could sit if customer traffic is slow.

Aldi and bass pro shop are the 2 places I always see workers sitting when checking out but I don’t think it affects the business at all😭😭 if they can do their job while sitting, let them

We are providing them to checkout and provide good customer service. I would feel extremely disrespected by someone checking me out while sitting. You aren’t even on my eye level and talking to to me

It’s not fake respect. If we’re paying for goods and services at minimum I expect some good service and respect. They don’t even greet us at the entrances anymore. It’s actually horrible

Just explain your mentality to me. Here is how I see it: I evaluate people for what they are trying to do at their core. They have 0 genuine interest or care about customers at their core. When I receive respect from a person like thag I don’t feel any better. I just feel lied to and bad for the employee being forced to make the skit.

I’d rather someone be nice and respectful to me wether real or not than someone being disrespectful. I didn’t ask you to be there. It’s not my fault u work minimum wage. However you are here now in that position and are getting paid to do a job which involves displaying respect, so have some fucking respect for me
