Fun reminder that even under sanctions, the average Cuban lives significantly better than the median American because the only thing inflating Americans average life expectancy was rich people living to be over 100. The average person in a poor area lives to be like 58 to 62.

Unbiased here, really sad people just speak to emotions with no intention of learning for themselves

This is the 47th consecutive balanced budget… 66% of it came from a state bailout and the rest was from fudging pension numbers and kicking the can down the road. This is not impressive

It’s amazing how the smooth brains don’t know how to google.

A combination of restoration of state funds that had been revoked under Cuomo, and taxes on homes worth over $5 million

He literally did lol. NYC is required by law to have a balanced budget (Financial Emergency Act). He did the same fake, kicking-of-the-can as Mamdani, but he had it just as “balanced” as it is now

47 years in a row dude. That very clearly encompasses Adams

The downvoting of publicly available information just because it doesn’t glaze Zohran is hilarious. You guys would seriously rather manufacture success for a politician than actually care about NYC? Yikes

Go on Checkbook NYC between 2021 - 2025 (Adams administration). You will see that the spending consistently outweighed the budget in that time frame. Happy to provide screenshots if needed. Keep crying.

Congratulations. So you just discovered what I already said! Mamdani, just like Adams, spends more than they make but makes up for it by getting bailed out by the state, delaying pension amortization, and dipping into rainy day funds in order to balance it on paper. So again, for the last 47 years the budget has been “balanced” and this is no different

“The budget not being balanced last year means that the budget was balanced.” You sound like an idiot.

I can’t believe you’re actively displaying this much ignorance over how politics and balance sheets work. And bias in real time when all Mamdani is claiming is the exact thing as Adams. Literally just google it, please, I’m getting second hand embarrassment
