While true and I can agree to that, I don’t believe they did it out of a place of care rather a place of being able to see the winds changing unlike America which is subsumed by its oil and gas industry.

China has actually been able to already peak on carbon emissions and is starting to trend down which is a good sign. But overall you’re pinning two fascist hellscape hell bent on having the world painted in their influence and color tho.

a corporatist state vs. an imperialist and capitalist state. yeah they’re not models to follow, but i still recognize China as a better actor than the U.S.

Currently I’d agree under Trump America is just hell bent on trying to being a lot more open and forceful with imperialism whilst China at least tries to do it discreetly outside of the South China Sea and with Taiwan which up until recently was its own shit fest under the KMT
