1. selling a drink to anyone underage is strict liability on the bar so they’re liable even if she did use a realistic fake ID. 2. they shoulve stopped her after she was visibly drunk because it’s actually the law. educate yourself.

if you go around, suing every bar that serves to underage people every bar in every college town would be closed. Is that what you’re saying should happen? like genuinely at some level it falls on the patron.

it doesn’t because it’s strict liability. any bar that serves any underage person no matter how realistic their fake ID looks is going to be held liable if someone gets injured as a result of them serving alcohol to anyone who is underage.
