I don’t support what happened to Charlie Kirk. But if it happened to a random black person or child, Charlie Kirk would’ve probably been ok with what happened to Charlie Kirk
I hate to say it, but I guess he got what he wanted🤷‍♀️.

He wouldn’t have been okay with it, what😭 It’s always terrible, but he is just saying it’s going to happen. People are always going to abuse their rights :/ But he believed it is crucial that we have gun rights, so despite the fact that people die from them in terrible ways, it is still important they don’t take our right to bear arms.

So basically your argument is “no he wouldn’t be ok with it but he thought it was important to have gun rights even if it meant gun deaths would happen?” So essentially, he is ok with gun deaths if it means we have gun rights

Proof? And I only say he wasn’t racist because all “proof” people have showed me, I have looked up myself and found the entire thing instead of out of context bs and see that he was in fact not being racist.

No, just like I’m not okay with anyone dying. It’s never okay that people die like that. But instead of taking away guns from everyone, Charlie said other ways they could prevent the shootings from happening because he agreed it’s NOT okay.

Yeah u must be 5 yr old if u think a real racists that isn’t a maniac is going to fully voice their hate to the public that’s asking to for it. Anyway he’s an idiot that profited off of rage baiting in public with barely any security and putting his family in that environment which is dangerous and completely ignoring the reality that ppl have always been violent.

Okay you’re moving things too far here. He was just being rational. He thinks guns ate important to protect American rights and values as many people including myself do as well. At the same time when answering the question he’s just saying there are going to be gun deaths if you have guns that’s unavoidable. It’s the same reason we have car deaths yet you wanna keep driving your car to work it’s worth the trade off. And there is a trade off on everything. He didn’t say he wanted people to die.

He didn’t want white ppl to die he properly couldn’t care less about anyone else dying.

To drive a car, you need to take safety lessons for like 50 hours and a test to prove you can do it without harming anyone. You have to get insurance in case you harm anyone else. There are fairly strict rules about what kinds of cars are street legal and not. I can guarantee Charlie Kirk would have opposed any of those policies being applied to guns. I’m not saying he promoted gun violence but I am saying he actively advocated to not do anything meaningful about it

Idk man, there were a lot of people that went to his gatherings to have actual conversations/debates, not take to violence

Honestly wish you could ask his opinion on that and see what he would say. Prob not what you would think

It’s not about who’s there. It’s the reality that there have been plenty of ppl for all of history that have no problem killing ppl over disrespect that is the obvious potential consequence of rage baiting random ppl.

Look the thing is there are already restrictions on people getting guns like no felons and states have their own laws. The overwhelming majority of guns used for violence come illegally unregistered and trafficked it’s already illegal so what would adding licenses waiting periods etc do to stop that. The issue is the real problem isn’t being addressed. Also he did support mandatory safety training from an instructor at the site of purchase so long as you could still get the gun the same day.

I’m saying he’s negligent for the level of security he had when weighed against the objective reality of the world. Right wingers think he was massive political commentator on the level of guys like MLK but almost every massive political activist gets assassinated or almost assassinated so how did he seem to not know or care about the risk.

Okay that’s fair. I also don’t understand why there wasn’t more security, not just for his sake but also the other people.

He shouldn’t have been shot but Charlie Kirk was absolutely a racist and it’s not that hard to see that with even a cursory look at his rhetoric.
